Lifts for In-Ground Pools and Spas
IGAT Models -- In-Ground, Automatic Turn
All IGAT models allow maximum access from the deck for the user and any assistant. Side to side transfers are easy – the outer armrest and footrest flip up out of the way and the mounting arm is under the seat for unobstructed wheelchair access. Independently operable, upper and lower controls are within easy reach of the rider and anyone wanting to call the seat from the opposite location. The seats automatically turn forward into the pool/spa (clockwise is standard), travel 44″ vertically, can be stopped or reversed at any point, and can be padlocked in the deck position with the water turned off. All IGAT models except the IGAT-90 are ADA-compliant for commercial pools.
Water pressure can be supplied by a plumbed-in line or a hose to a faucet. Regular city water pressure (35 PSI to 70 PSI max) is usually enough to lift a 400 lb person (at 55-65 PSI).
If water pressure is above 70 PSI, a pressure reducer must be used.
Installation requires drilling a hole in the deck and installing a stainless steel socket to receive the lift. A cover is included. Surface mounting by anchor bolts is possible in some situations.
In-Ground, Auto Turn of 180º

No underwater installation.
In-Ground, Auto Turn of 135º
Designed for pools/ spas with bench seats, the automatic turn is 135º to allow the footrest to clear seats and descend deeper.

Compact and Portable – Lifts out and rolls away with no tools or readjustments needed.
Custom-designed to your measurements. Overall height in raised position varies according to bench depth and travel distance.

No underwater installation.
Bottom of seat touches bench — protective under-seat pad included.
In-Ground, Auto Turn of 180º
Above-Deck
Designed so the entire lift is Above Deck and out of the water until the seat enters, desirable for pools with automatic covers.
Removal with no tools or readjustments required. No attached wheel.
Lifts 350 lbs maximum at 55-60 PSI operating pressure, depending on added accessories.
Overall height in raised position — 110″.
Can also be built with a 135º turn for pools and spas with benches.
Mounts in deck socket — 3.5″ OD, 10″ Depth.
In-Ground, Auto Turn of 90º
Best for people who can stand and pivot or make a diagonal transfer. Seat turns backwards counter-clockwise into water. No footrest included. Two stationary armrests. Not ADA-compliant.

INCLUDED
A stationary cylinder-side armrest, flip-up outer armrest, flip-up footrest with replacement pad, one seat belt, deck socket and cover, choice of white (standard) or blue seat. Model IGAT-90 has two stationary armrests, and no footrest.
OPTIONAL
Double or single flip-up armrests, adjustable full-support headrest, chest or lap belts, a larger seat, a vinyl-liner wall pad, and a spine board attachment which must be specified with the original order. Custom Adaptations to any lift are available.
In-Ground Models with a 360º Manual Turn
As the entire lift is out of the water until the seat enters, these lifts are a good alternative for pools with moveable floors and automatic pool covers, in-ground spas with bench seats, and pool/spa combinations. Seats can be forward-facing (cylinder behind seat) or side-mounted (cylinder on right or left of seat). Forward-facing seats allow the rider’s legs to avoid benches in pools/spas. No footrest included.
Weight capacity is 300 lbs at 55-65 PSI operating pressure, depending on weight of added accessories.
In-Ground, Manual Turn
Assisted Operation, variable seat orientation. An assistant turns the seat as the mounting arm rotates in the deck socket.
Can be used to access two bodies of water — pool/spa combinations.
Seat is attached to piston rod which lowers from cylinder bottom.
Portable. Lifts out of socket with no tools.
Height: 83.5″ with standard 44″ seat travel.
Includes deck socket and socket cover.
In-Ground, Recessed Cylinder
Usually Assisted Operation, but with a side-facing seat and a manual self-turn handle, some riders will be able to use the lift unassisted.
The IGRC has proven adaptable to many configurations, including low headroom, situations where strength of mounting or low profile is essential, and for boat docks. Can be used to access two bodies of water — pool/spa combinations.
Lift height in raised position – 84″.
Usually installs in a (customer-supplied) PVC sleeve (either 6″ or 8″ diameter as required) set in concrete 30″ deep; or through-bolted to deck (not requiring PVC sleeve).
